is there any way apart from getting a TV out video card to get my laptop to play vids through to my TV i have all of season 6 of 24 and will take ages to burn all the to dvd's...unfortunatly there on my laptop too so cant just go buy a tv out card unless they do em for laptops wich i doubt...
any one got any sugetions??

if you have a hd tv with vga input buy a vga cable and plug laptop to tv, if you dont have a hdtv then u will have to either burn them or watch them on your laptop, unless you have a pc in which case buy a new graphics card/tv card with tv out.

well at work we ahve a VGA to scart but its crap reeally is, best thing just get a card with s-video dead cheap of fleebay, and then ive got a wire u gcn av for a few quicd

dont understand that bit in bold?? but might just copy to dad's pc and pull his appart and put in the lounge for a bit to watch it all pluss got all the the other series to catch up on and entorage to watch too :panic:

I use a VGA cable from my second port on my graphics card.
Use dual screen with my HDTV runs sweet as a nut.

get a graphics card of ebay for a few quid and amke sure it ahs an s-video output, and then pout that in your pc, and use a s-video to hpone to go into your Tv thats what i do!

yeah got an s-vid on my dad's pc but dont hink he will be too happy me butchering his pc and moveing it into the lounge to watch a tv show...
might get my xbox chipped and watch it that way as my mate at uni did that and worked really well

yeah, or get tversity, It is a media libiary which can be played on anything really, ps3 xbox 360, Put it on your laptop add your videos and connect it to your xbox, it transcodes everything on the fly..

me has laptop and has built in S-Vid, well you've got plent of options here mate!
