Anyone know where I can surf to, for the average calorific value of natural gas supplied in the Northwest area, over the last month???

My bosses boss has asked me to sort this out?

Must be a website somewhere..

Go on Guy, you're bored... surf for me...

Calorific Value

The calorific value (CV) is a measurement of the amount of energy contained in the gas. CV is usually quoted in megajoules per cubic metre (MJ/m3). Gas delivered to your premises will have a CV of between 37.5 MJ/m3 and 43.0 MJ/m3.This is continually measured by Transco for each Local Distribution Zone and passed to your gas supplier daily.

Conversion Factors Examples

Therms to kWh X 29.307 1 Therm = 29.3071 kWh

Cubic Metres to kWh X 10.6400 1 Cubic Metre = 10.6400 kWh at an assumed CV of 38.3mj/m3

Cubic Feet to kWh X 0.3010 1 Cubic Foot = 0.3010 kWh at an assumed CV of 1.085 mj/ft3

Cubic Feet to Cubic Metres X 0.0283 1 Cubic Foot = 0.0283 Cubic Metres

Big help....

But, now I suppose I will have to actually derive the calculations and set up the spreadsheet.. arse.

I also need to measure the suppply gas pressure.. but the gauge is shagged.. lmfao!
