is there a guide on here telling you how to mesh the mk1 grill?
Also should i mesh mine with black or silver? i have a balck saxo btw!

I would say silver as to much black wouldnt look as good i like contrast.
Not sure about a guide but shouldnt be to hard to do just remove the insert and then cut your mesh slightly bigger then the hole and buy some clips from b&q or somewhere just to attach it at points around the grlle.

It's easily done, just remove the grill cut out the original plastic and fix mesh in, i've seen the mesh just stuck on with adisive and that stood the test of time.
The most difficult part is removing and refitting the grill because on the mk 1's it goes all the way under the headlights. Dont bash your front bumber too hard while removing and refitting the grill as it can knock it out of place.
I reckon silver mesh would look better, unless you were going for the motorsport look.

black mesh, silver mesh looks tacky imo and gets dirty very quickly
