Hi,

Saxo 99 t reg 1.0

Having problem with brake light.

The rear brake light passenger side is playing up.

When i put a bulb in it will light but causes the dash backlight to come on when i brake and the brake light above back window to stay on when lights are on.

After much fun trying to work out which bulb it was i have isolated it to the passenger side bottom bulb.

Tried a few different bulbs to no luck

Your ideas on this one please

I did suffer from a flat battery a few days ago should this have any bearing on it

This might be a shot in the dark, so I would wait for another reply but I say a bad earth? Its a wierd situation tho as is most electrical faults! Hope you find a fix!

Sounds like it could be a bad earth, its not something thats too hard to check for so should be worth eliminating as a possible cause.

its either down to a bad earth or the actual bulb holder, make sure there all in ok, and all the connections are good

have you changed the lights over by any chance ??
