does anyone know if there is a difference between the vts and vtr lower radiator hose?
as my drive shaft has just gone through my hose due to it being too close to it.
i think i may have a vtr hose as it appears too long any help will be rewarded with rep

vtr hose is longer iirc, as when fitting a vts rad into a 16v-conversion if you don't use the vts bottom hose you can use the vtr bottom hose if it's cut shorter.

i'm lowered 60mm and never had any issues. The hose is clipped on by a bracket or clip of some sort around the side of the engine if i remember rightly, take a look in your drivers side wheel arch (may need to remove arch liner) and have a look to see if the hose has dropped slightly

looked today only 1 clip on the hose and it sempted to be right up to the chassis. is the hose only available from citreon or will motor factors have them?

hmmm not sure on that one, my local factor didn't have the top vts hose and I had to go to citroen and was stung for about £45....
