they are called bonnet raisers. a few people have fitted them to their saxos on here - will try and find them for you. they were also on ebay a while ago for £20

its called bonnet jacking i believe, more to let hot air to escape, think all you do is make some spacers or use a load of washers and longer bolts on the hinges to get it looking higer at the back

they're on about the rear of the bonnet, if you lifted the front then air would get in under it whilst driving and rip it off :n:

up to you how many washers you use, depends how much you want it up, you will need longer bolts too
as martin said there just blocks of metal, like spacers, probablies could make some yourself
furio_beno
16th July 2007, 15:51
djmartin p can you get me the dimensions of the blocks i.e thickness height and width an how far apart the hole centres are ? many thanks

just do a template off the hinges on the bonnet, obviously take the bonnet off and do it

Take the bolts out the bonnet, got to local diy store, get some spacers and measure the lenght of thread that you need out the end of the spacer, buy the bolts and spacer buy it, and fit it ;)
