Hiya peeps searched the forum cant find anything bout it but i wanna find out if fitting a new manifold and exhaust system will fail my mot. Just wondered cos wanna get one but MOT due october so wanna no if it ok. Gonna get the one right for my car not jus a universal, wanna get sports cat as if you have decat fucks up the emission sensor dont it? Cheers for all ya help

for sure it ll fail wi a de cat mate,the manifold should be ok but not entirely sure on that one.my cars gettin a s/s manifold on it the morrow but only after the MOT

was lookin at piper manifold peco duplex exhaust and jan speed sports cat wat you reckon oh and viper forced induction

i wouldna go for a peco but its up til yoursel mate,i ve heard o lots o folk wi the viper kits so they must be pretty good.

i couldna tell ya mate have a look about on the net,google is a great tool!! i wouldna get one as i ve had loads o people say their crap,but like i says its up til you if you like the look o it get it,it is your car after all :p

if you got enough money til burn get the manifold,sports cat then get a custom system you ll get a dual system made no probs wi any tail pipes ya want!

All the law says is that the gas exiting the tail pipe must conform to a certain standard, any car that is in good condition and regularly serviced will pass the CAT test, with out one fitted, even cars that have been modified quite a lot usually still pass

id imagine there both good as there big names,loads folk on here have either a gmc, or a raceland manifold,which is what am gettin fitted.i ve never heard o anyone whos runnin a car wi a sports cat at all,everyone i know have de cats even tho you have til put it back on come MOT time i think it releaes more power.

ya its cause the cat removes all the bad products and if you take it off they get on the sensor and fuck it up, thats wat i bin told by some people but does hold me to it lol
