**no power at all**

hey fowks,

just spent the last coupla hours wiring in two subs and an amp but have hig a major snag... i now have no power. i was trying to release the bolt in the fuse box in the engine bay when i thought id put the radio on while i was working. went to put the cd player but have no power at all now. nothing works but all the fuses looked okay when i checked them. just going out to double check them all.

anyone any ideas?

most likely to be a fuse mate, should really disconnect the batter's negativve lead when working on electrics on the car

even if the one for the radio looks ok replcae it, i had this before it looked ok but replaced it and it was fine, sometimes they blow and the wire doesnt go like some fuses do if you catch my drift

fuse on de back of de cd player usally a 10amp or 15amp one or unless your really bad at wiring you could have fired some of the wiring but its doubtful

would the fuse on the back of the cd player cut power to everything? i have no power at all : no immobiliser, central locking, lights or anything. couldnt disconect the battery the terminals are ones me or my dad have ever seen before and theyre completely seized

got it sorted now. it was 2 wires that have to have a face connection which were loose and werent connecting properly. cheers guys
