Lexus Lights

rite got me lexus lights fitted 2day.. put them on they look sweet.. then in the bottom of the box i found these reflector thing's.. i havent put them on but been told that its the law to have them.. i really dont liek them.. what shall i do.. what bout if i get pulled what shall i say??

it is a legal requirement that you have a reflector on the back of your car its a fail safe if your lights fail. It wont pass an mot without them (strictly speaking, most mot guys will probably ignore or not even check for reflector)

If you get pulled you might get lucky and just get a warning or you might get a producer or even an mot producer.

Up to you you could try and be inventive with the reflectors or you could just leave them off and you may never get bothered

Best to say you fitted them and they must have fallen off with you noticing your very sorry and will be at halfords as soon as possible to get some new onessmileys/smiley17.gif

I've had my black magic lights for well over a year and a half now, never put the reflectors or foglight on. Just swap the lights over for the mot , maybe its luck i don't know, but i've even had police cars following me and they didn't stop me. Its up to you.

Yeh i bought lexus lights from a guy in dundee and i got the box with them 'second hand. There was no reflectors in the box and i never knew that until now, but there already is reflector within the lexus lights isnt there? its round and looks like it would light up, maybe im wrong.

You just have to chance your luck with the police, i live in an alright area of arbroath and the blues dont mind. I can see them being bastards in other areas just to stop u tho

The nite i got pulled 4 my green sidelights off the traffic police,i had just fitted my clear lights which dont have reflectors fitted thot the copper was gonna say sumthin but he didnt,got away wi the green lights aswell smileys/smiley14.gif

ive got a furio aswell. i used to hva e a 1.1 but changed it 4 a furio.
