360 fan unit

do any of you 360 whores have one of those 3 fan intercooler unit thingies?

just got my 360 on now and the fan is annoying as hell, was just wondering if one of these intercooler units would be of any help?

i was told not to buy one from some guy who worked in game as he said they have a fault that they also overheat and then melt themselves to the xbox and thus causing the xbox to smoke and maybe catch alight.

The best way he said to keep them cool was to basically leave about a 4inch gap all round the xbox and powersupply and if you can get a natural cold air feed to circulate by it that should keep it cool.

My pals got the intercooler thing on his 360 and he thinks it helps when you're playing it for a long time.

If you're getting one mate, i suggest you mod it so it runs off its own mains rather than stealing power from the xbox. I've heard a few stories from people who had the intercooler but still got the 3 red lights.
