Hi guys,

Just put my 17's on and they rub like hell at the back!!

It's been lowered by one click. Got it back from the bodyshop and they'd taken out the back plastic guards,
but when i got home i noticed the metal bracket that hold's the bumper on is bent inwards and has lost its paint.

I then check the tyre and it's got a small gash round the whole tyre where it digs in!!

Can this be removed or is it best to batter it to one side away from the tyre??

Cheers

Ali.

Adam,

It's just the standard VTS back bumper. The front ones are fine, and the back ones have had about 2inches cut away from below the plastic arch.

It's from behind the back wheels thats the problem.

yeh mines lowered 40mm on the front on 17s and the torsion bar was lowered accordindly onto new spax shocks!! but my main problem was the front arches rubbing!!! mmmmm i honestly dunno mate!!! is there anyway of shuntin the bracket ova slightly so it doesnt get in the way of the wheel

Adam,

Yeah think I'll get the bodyshop to batter it out towards the petrol cap.

I'm sure the guys down at the shop have came across this before and have an idea of what to do.

Cheers for the advice.

just cut it off and if you want relocate the bolt but if there is a clip holding the bumper to the arch it should hold the bumper no problem
