Rang up Citroen.. They asked for the Chassis number and i got it

FOR FREE!! :shock:

It is a con. They charged me a tenner but I was about 200 miles away from my home and wanted to listen to my cd player, so I needed to get a code for that! :/

I used to work for a body repair centre who repaired citroens, hahahaha i loved it!!!
The best bit was i got the stuff at trade price but the guys in the garage did the work for nothing if it was a small job or for 40 cigs if it was a big job!!!!:y:

Btw, codes provided from Citroen or that website (if it exists) would be useless for those people who have changed their code from factory standard. That'd be a pain in the *rse if you paid £20 and got the hump if you thought you were given the wrong code.

When i had this problem i was told the following:

Any Citroen will charge you £28.99 i think it was to order the code off their database

If the car was produced from new at that citroen garage they will issue it to you free of charge. They asked me to E-mail them my V5 to prove i owned the car then rung back and gave me the code over the phone!! :)

To be fair the standard Citroen CD-Player isn't bad!!
