Gutted. Had to get rid due to my new job which i start on Monday and it has gone, replaced with a V- plate 1.3 Fiesta....:fcuk:
Does 60mph in second gear and runs rings round VTR's and Zetec S's......
Or not.
Driving is no fun anymore, mate i worked with who isn't into cars can't understand why i loved the Evo so much. I miss everything, the noise, the acceleration, the handling. Driving is a chore again. <sigh>
Still, cheap tax, stupidly low insurance and i can throw any old shite fuel into it is some little comfort..........

There are pictures in the Nurburgring threads. Was a 4, in silver, just stage 1 around 320bhp-ish.
Travelling more miles for my new job and needed something cheap and economical. The Evo wasn't.

what model evo did you have buddy?
Evo 4 GSR, walbro fuel pump, blitz nur-spec r exhaust, blitz filter, etc, etc. Spent over £6500 in just over 2 years of ownership.......:ill:

tho i have to admit ima fan of the mk 7 and 8 models
but an evo is an evo tbh.
dont you worry dude you'll get one again someday and most prob end up with a mk 8 if so give me a call il test drive it for yah lol

:( gutted mate, was awesome aswell, then again thats probs not making you feel any better so ill start again.

You must miss the Evo....... I wouldnt be able to bare parting with mine. No turning back after an Evo. Simple.
Lol @ shite fuel......... no more stopping at SHELL for V-Power, Damn it takes ages finding one when your lost too.......lol
I use a Citroen AX GT5 for a runner during the week, does the job, and my EVIL for weekends.

Unlucky mate!
I contemplated getting rid of the RX7, as running costs are stupid. As you well know!
I think I will keep it for bit now, and just have it as a weekend car. I really miss my Impreza though. Was a shame I got rid of that!
Never know, I may turbo another Saxo and use that instead of the Rex!!

Because its a round trip of 60 miles per day. The fuel costs would cripple me. And i can't afford to run 2 cars and pay the mortgage.
I'll have another one someday. 2.4 strokered Tommi Mak edition. Mmmmmmmmmmmm!
