really tempted to go online, but got a nice set up downstairs and internet upstairs whats the best way of getting it so its downstairs, although now iv got a 32"flatscreen i spose i could just bring that upstairs and down when ever i want not ideal but i spose itd do what do you guys reckon

^ you could get somthing like that as you wont have wires everywhere, but it depends what internet you have and if you got wifi on your xbox etc. :)

Yeah if you can go wired and using your network for media purposes.. go for wired..

Wireless isn't that fast. still although it says 54M/bit its really 20 I think.. 54 is the speed at Mac level at application level its 20 (Doing this sort of stuff at uni)

I posted a chart in some other thread..

although the N range of wireless products are prob alright for streaming media but not tired them myself..

Yeah g is the most commonly used, but I think its about 13mb you actualy get (Just attended a Cisco wireless course)

I found out so much I didn't know, and the guy only had 1 arm!

yeah.. my job involves this.... im a BT call centre punchbag! we deal with broadband problems... wireless will work fine if you have thin walls but i wud go 4 cables m8!;)

Yea but in all fairness its to do with advertising. The same as bandwidth, you will never actually get an 8meg download speed. Its just a max capacity rating
