leaking heater matrix?

yesterday my saxo started chucking out with water which was from the radiator into both footwells. it was actually dripping out of the fan blower where your feet sit...

ive tried searching for answers but can only find it being heater matrix. how is this replaced?

The whole dash had to come out to fix it

My 106 Gti did exactly the same, took it to a garage and it cost me about £220 inc VAT if i remember rightly.

it's a pain cleaning the mats and carpets after though.
