Central locking probs

Cant open the drivers door.....when i pop the central locking the drivers lock pops up and then back down again...

Any ideas as to why this is happening

it might be catching on something take the door card off and have a fiddle with it

Laced the latch with Wd40 and alls good for now....the latch was seized
