has any one got an idea to my problem! im curretnly running to 12" alpine subs and alpine amp, and dvd player! but when i turn the sounds up it all cuts out and then starts straight back up again! do i need a 2nd batt!?

that happens to me! altho its only my front components that cut out leaving me just bass..........great.
i reckon it is battery issues, because the wiring for my component amp is a smaller guage than my sub, and i reckon it doesnt get enough power to it.
I'd wait for someone to confirm :y:

how high are you turning it up mate, and whats the gain on the amp set to??
also what battery are you running now, could just be a bad earth somewere

well iv just renewed my battery for a new one from halfords thats ment for my car! also ive changed the gain, wat should the gain be on! and theres a load of other settings witch i dont no wat to put them on!

Whats the ratings of you sub and amp?

so its quite a small battery then replacing the standard one, tbh youd be better with a heavy duty one or if you can afford it an optima yellow top :y:
what subs and amps do you have???

i have two alpine swr 1500w, and alpine mrd-m1005 mono amplifier!
