This is a good job mate, I have done this before, interview is not hard, they are pretty laid back. Just show your technical side and the ability to carry out what they require.

Good luck mate.:y:

Good luck buddy! :y:

I had a job interview this morning... and my advice would be to dress up nice and smart.. try and calm yourself down before hand and relax as much as possible... if someone comes to meet you before the interview greet them in a polite manner and start small talk.. it will calm you down... Think before you answer any questions, talk slowly and clearly, focus on the positives of why your suited to the job...

and most of all SMILE :)

Good luck!
Alex
:)

EDIT - stop focusing on the pay... who cares.. it doesn't matter what you get paid if you dont get the job :homme:

I have a job interview tomorrow for ebuyer

All in all the wage works out just a bit more than what I'm on now. This job is £13,500 then unsociable hours allowance cos its 10-7 or 11-7 i forget then they have a quarterly bonus of £250

They have a subway and a gym in the building and I'm not sure what happened about the hairdressers they were getting

I just have to remember to be confident and just big myself up a bit lol

im working 6 days a week with 2 jobs lol

wouldent join BT, although there is a lot of inhouse training and good benefits its hard to progress to the top, took my Dad what 20 odd years to move up to project management level from engineering, although they train and give laptops and phones and cars etc

not bad but not for me, prefer to work in smalled companies, easier to impress that way

its not too bad... I like to think of it this way...

my father is retired.
my mother is a teacher
me and my sister skank the goverment into paying our tution fees.

any tax we pay out basically pays for our tuition fees and my fathers pension.

easier not to get angry that way :)

EDIT: also it'll pay all the benefits and house I'll be claiming once I breed with a my trophy chavvy slag wife a few hundred times and we both decide we can be arsed to work.

What? How does that work?

On average, people that go to university end up with higher paid jobs later in life... therefore they end up paying more tax.....??

Explain yourself..?

If you like it where you are but it isn't enough money then apply for something else anyway and if you get offered it then its crunch time... they either up your pay or you go.

A lad Ash works with has done this plenty of times and he's on something like £25 grand now iirc. He does speak fluent french though

thats sound mate, my lasses bro works for them and loves it. he works all the time and gets a good wage.

lol, i forgot what an interview is like. i had a one when i was in korea, had it over a converance call. they were in aberdeen, i was in korea having a beer on my balconey lmbo.
they just asked a load of question and said "do you want the job" i said "yes" but i will only leave my company now if you give me more money than you are offering.

they said we will think about it.

so i carried on working with my company, they have called twice since with better offeres, i have refused them. but they came back last week with a one i can not refuse, so i handed in my notice. the money is sweet ;)

i still havnt seen the people i will be working for LMBO, they just went of what my old boss told them and off my cv.

stick with it mate, give it your all and they will reward you ;)

lol not always the case mate, my brother has got a degree in graphic design and his mate has one in art design and they are stuck in a dead end job because nobody will take them on, uni is a waste of money unless its for something useful, e.g. electrical, mechanical engineering etc.

Not people who go because they don't know what else to do and choose a subject like astronomy.

Get good grades in school then progress onto something useful, such as a trade, i don't mean bricklayer now, i mean plubmer, electrician theres a huge shortage, more monies for meeeeeeeeeee.

thats bollocks mate, all of the lads i work with dont have degrees, and we all get at least 50k+ a year if not more ;)

not that im thick, i have had to graft to get where i am now, only 25 (26 tomorrow) been doing this 3yrs, done an apprenticeship in engineering, got a levels, nvqs, hncs etc.

had the chance to go to uni, best thing i ever did was not go, i have earned way more than i would have with a degree and i have no student debt ;)

so uni degrees dont always mean that you will walk into a waxer paid job. end of the day, its experience that counts.
if someone has a degree with no experience, another has no degree but has 4yrs experience and the knowledge and know how, they experience gets it hands down ;)
