my 1.1 broke down again, this time in Stockton above the A66, on way home after a night out, the vibration got stronger and then it started slipping out of gear and then clunking and then wouldn't drive, looks like the drive shaft has gone- sick to the back teeth of the bloody thing- it was a mistake getting it, im looking for a vts and just cannot wait to get one, need a good one though so i may have to get a 1.4 polo for the time being till i find one- patch the 1.1 and say good riddance i think.
I am craving a vts, but do you think they have as much prestige as the polo?
obviously the polo is only intended to be temporary but they are nice cars were talking 2002 black 1.4 e/w pas abs e/mirrors and e/sunroof etc etc- but the vts looks nice and will be better to driver, but being at uni im not sure im being a little bit of a dreamer.... and maybe should get the vw and use it permanently.
What do you think? (in a unbiased way as possible ;)- think im probably being a prat even considering a polo over a vts for the long term..duno.

get what you can afford, if your gonna be straining to pay for the vts, dont bother wait till you can afford to run it properly otherwise you will regret it.

good advice, i can afford to pay for it, it, just goto keep the miles down (just driving 2,5 hours home and then nipping around uni), what about the polo though as cars go how do you rate it?
ive dreamed of having a vts for ages but then the polo would be the sensible option but the boring one. what do you think?

only you can decide what to do, its not worth skinting yourself when you are at Uni tho mate, just for the sake of a car.
