drivers window wont go down

as stated in the title, the motor hasnt burnt out as it will go up but it just wont go down.

just wondered if anyone knew the fault before i start taking the center console apart.

the passenger window works fine.

im *thinking* its the actual switch and maybe just one of the connections has come loose for the down button.

anyone come across this before or have a better idea than me?

any help repped obviously

i would check the switch as you said. the motor cant be burnt out if it works one way so defo check the wiring. it could even be the clip has come loose for the window

take the doorcard off and check the cabling around the pullys etc

not funny driving back from work and i cant open my window in this heat :(
