working on your birthday

how many peeps have been working on there birthdays?

i had never been at school or at work on my birthday for 23yrs, then started this job and have worked the last 3yrs on my birthday, last year and the year before were ok as i was abroad and could have a drink with the lads after work.

this year, today lol
im stuck offshore, carnt even have a drink!
will just have to get a shit load of wine gums tonight from the shop and see if that has any effect??

even been thinking of seeing the medic for some cough medicine, i herd that makes you feel tipsy when you down a whole bottle ;)

Normally book the week of my birthday off as I go away to the New Forest the first part of the week, then I get drunk the 2nd half of that week.

mine was alright in my old job, everyone in the factory had to take the last week in july and the first week of august off. suited me down to the ground.

different kettle of fish with this job, i have even had them cancel my holidays because they have needed me to go some where on a rush job! :(

thats what we do. we used to have a birthday strip at work aswell. unfortunatley it was from a 65 year old bloke, once he shoved some cream round his tackhole and tried to wipe it on me so then i punched him and knocked him on the floor

oh yes, used to be out down there every monday, wednesday, friday and saturday back in the day when i was doing my apprenticeship. good old days. dont know how i didnt get bladderd for being mortal at work or for going to kip in the bogs.

costs to much to get there in a taxi for me now, nearly 40squid + round trip, before i even have a sip of the good stuff ;)

used to bide at a mates house in the toon.
college on a monday night after work.
once college was fin, we would pile into mates house, get sorted then out. would be out till daft oclock, then would go to work.

remember getting my arse kicked off my parents because they only ever seen me on a sunday lmbo

calmed down alot now :(

now i just blag a lift of my mam or my sis when im going, if not its the rip taxi firm that wins lol
