My Holidays - tickets, stickers, Premium Membership & TRAX info.

Myself and Suie are going on holiday on Tuesday morning next week. I have 2 weeks booked off and am really looking forward to a well earnt rest!

The point of this post though...

If you intend to purchase Premium Membership, stickers, TRAX tickets or TRAX tracktime, etc whilst I am on holiday, you WILL suffer a delay in having your order processed.

Arrangements will be in place to allow new Premium Members to be activated, but all sticker sales, etc will be on hold!

A quick note regarding TRAX...

The tickets, show passes and dedicated track session have now been ordered and paid for.

I have purchased 80 entry tickets and have ordered 80 show passes. As usual, the tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Once entry tickets have all been sold, car show passes can still be obtained from me, but you will need tp purchase entry tickets from TRAX, or on the gate on the morning of the show.

There is not a huge number of entry tickets remaining - so book soon to guarantee the discounted price!

Again, payment for the dedicated track session has been SLOW. If you are interested in driving the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit - then take this opportunity to do so!

best thing to do is take a few quid for you to spend on your first few days, maybe some Trav. cheques to as a back up. then just use the hole in the wall with you bank card, you get the going rate of that day and only pay the bank £1.50 per a transaction, dont get jipped with comision ;)

i do that most places in the world when working away, works out a bit cheaper and you normally get a better rate ;)

i normally take more than i need, just to avoid going loads of times and getting charged the £1.50 lol, but im tight :)

have a good time over there, they have some cracking beaches, its great for windsurfing too, got a constant breeze, so make sure you have the sun cream on, you burn with out knowing it as the breeze cools you down ;)

Simo, afaik it's only Gran Canaria and Tenerife that is having the fires at the mo.... I hope they don't set Lanzarote on fire as I'm due to go there in Sept!

Mate, it's only roasting over there cause someone set fire to the forests etc and the fire has spread across the island and someone did exactly the same in Gran Canaria

No... the temp from the sun is still high 30s, but the fires were making it near 50s.

Apparently the fires are out now and the clean up has begun, but they are the worst fires in the Canary Islands history.

No, I will receive the bulk ticket order from the TRAX officials approx 2 weeks before the event. ALL tickets and passes, etc will be sent out towards the end of August.

Yes... All Hotel 1 peeps should remember to cancel their rooms if they do not require them. I've cancelled my Hotel #1 rooms earlier this afternoon.

Those fires are mad! It was 50 degrees when I went to turkey in 05 and was horrible, couldn't stay in the sun for longer than 5 mins without wanting to pass out! lol.

i stayed in corralejo. the wind wasnt good when i went in march, it wasnt that hot and the wind just made it chilly at about 7-8 ish :(
