Although there euro look alloys, there not proper proper Euro Wheels. As for them you would need near £1500!

dont get lenso's, theres someone on herere that already has them and they dont really look that euro.
saxoash has some euro rims on his, they are in mint condition and he paid £800 for them second hand. so cant see £500 going that far mate

I'd say for Euro rim's you want at least £1k tbh...
Mark51
5th August 2007, 12:59
the 1k is worth it if thats the route you want to go down.
imo there are three main routes
1. track slag
2. euro
3. suitable
i couldnt justify spending 1k on a set of rims, plus the extra £200 some for the spacers

i could try but wouldnt get far :p
Did you mean suitable or subtle? Im going for a blend of two lol

With that kinda budget you might just get the rims but thats it. Depending on the rim you get you'll need a fitting kit also and then obviously tyres and spacers.
I used to run Kerscher Carmonas and they cost me the best part of a grand.

Lol must of read that wrong no way you could have edited it that quickly lol :p
Suitable meaning leather and comfort etc then?

As some have already said, £500 is NOT a budget for a set of Euro rims.
Btw, in your post you said...
"need to get some 15" euro style wheels for my saxo"
Why do you "need" to get some?
These looked rather tasty...

Shopping around! Ringing companies enquiring! Not to say anthing but dubmeister wanted twice as much as I paid for my wheels off the manufacturer! and they got sent from Germany for 30euro!

I love the euro look, but im owndering when its gonna come crashing down and everyones gonna get bored of it, and some people are gonna be left with very expensive rims that arent worth much
dannyjay
5th August 2007, 22:00
It never will due to the high demand for DUB style cars, and euro cars. You can date back euro saxos since the MK1s came out and people arn't bored of them yet.
Same as the MK1/2 golfs on BBS rims, people could never get bored of them and were talking 14 years on!

Fair point but its bigger than it ever has been now, a lot of the vw club sites are bored of the euro look now understrandably, the other sites wont take long to catch up

Well I'm on edition38 and there far from bored! It's all about 8/9J wheels and slammed and I love it. How in hell could we get bored of this;

If you want deep dish these look quite nice:
http://www.performancealloys.com/details.asp?procedure=wheel&id_wheels='RL%20-%20Silver'&id_wheels_manufacturers='Compomotive'&id_wheels_sizes='15x7'&price='120'&permission=814202647
Don't think these would suit the Saxo though:
http://www.performancealloys.com/details.asp?procedure=wheel&id_wheels='ML%20Competition'&id_wheels_manufacturers='Compomotive'&id_wheels_sizes='15x5.5'&price='122'&permission=814202647
Not deep dish, but still quite yummy:
http://www.performancealloys.com/details.asp?procedure=wheel&id_wheels='BBS%20RF'&id_wheels_manufacturers='BBS'&id_wheels_sizes='15x6.5'&price='163'&permission=814202647
Would they be classed as euro?
