noticed a few patches of oil on the drive so had alook under and found this.

im hoping its just a seal!

also the car has been making a clunking noise (sounds like suspension)
any ideas?


its a mk2 vts btw

i can see them !

yeah it might just be the drive shaft seal gone mate, my went a few weeks back and cost me £40 fitted, including seal.

Yeah likewise mate....i had this go in my 306 GTi6 and it was the driveshaft seal

had it checked today. its the gear box itself, needs to be resealed, 6hours labour!!! to take it out do the job, change the clutch (as thats on its way out) and put it back!!!

£420!!!!!!!! is this alittle expensive!??

jet wash all the oil off then take the car for a quick run and see exhactly where its commign from as you might be able to do somethin with it yourself depending which part its comming from

alrite mate can se the pics dont think is goitobe your cv boot , (drive shaft seal ) for the simple reason it holds grease not oil
