I need to know for sure whether or not you can put a new dial board in without the mileage changing from what it really is. Has anyone on here actually changed their dial units over, and what happened with the mileage please? Cheers

you can on the mk1 dials as they are analogue and you can take the unit appart to swap the odometer over. The mk2 unit is all digital, i'd assume u'd need to plug it into a machine to have the milage corrected. what unit have you got?

Oh dear. I'm not sure if it is possible to swap over the speedo from one to the other on the mk2 ones. I dunno if that would wipe it hmm. If not there are people who can correct milage. Think normally its a fair few quid though. Just make a note of the milage that it was and the milage on the new unit and that should be ok.

Sorry mate, a bit lost. How would changing the dials affect the computer which records the mileage etc...

Apparently the mileage is stored in the ecu and the dials. Basically i wanna put another set in but the saxos done 65k and the dials have 35k on them. I dont want the mileages to add together, or for the mileages in the ecu and dials to be different etc

Oh, I thought you were chaning the dials... Why don't you leave the computer part of the dash as it is?
