Need Help - Gona Sell the VTS

Hi guys and girls,

Iv decided im gona cut my losses on my vts, Its a possi 98 mk1 vts with 79k miles on clock, I hit a lamp post and curb.

Basicly the car needs new front wings, 2 new wheels, front plastic arch, sideskirts and a rear axle,

It has some small dents and a crease (wierd dents) on 1 side, it may need jigging but dont really know? may drive stright may not.

The engine is crisp, and the car has lots of mods like miltek heat wrapped 4 branch manifold, remapped ecu with 8k rev limiter, spax shocks, green cotton enclosed inductionkit, full decat pipe, etc and runs great,

All interior is mint and has 2 mint vts wheels on it still. all bits like powerstering pump etc is fine, has had a new alternator and radiator. blah blah blah,

Really dont know wether to sell as a 1er or break,

what would you do???

and what is it worth? ITS NOT REGISTERED AS A WRITE OFF!!

New rear axle and it would drive but i need a bigger car, and dont want to spend the money to fix it, only to have to sell it again afterwards.
if you get what i mean!!

rumor has it that his nose is flat now due to all the wonga under his bed, his nose is squished against the ceiling at night!

To be honest, it sounds like its not worth a lot.. better of splitting it, prob get more money that way too :)

This is the worst side, the front is purely cosmetic... needs a new wheel, wing and indicator but all the metal work uner the bonnet is fine.

Its funny, cos if you pull in the driveway the car looks MINT from one side..... its only when you go round that side it looks like that.

Aint as bad as it looks, like i say, needs 2 front wings, 2 wheels, 1 tyre, skirts, indicator, rear axle, bout 250 jigging and bout 200 quids worth of dent removal. Id say about 750 and it will be spot on again,

How easy is it to break a car, without damaging stuff?? and how do you get the engine out?? stuff like that.

And no yates, the 4 branch manifold is worth more than that lol.

2 wheels - 80
2 front wings - 70
front pass arch - 30
skirts - 40

TOTAL - 220

Needs -
rear axle - been quoted 120
Jigging - been quoted 250
Dent removal - been quoted between 200-300

TOTAL - 620

OK so mabe around 840 total.

but i dont want to cos i cant keep it anyway, so its gota go.

What is it worth in spares?

Engine is sweet, chippped ecu, 4-2-1 manifold decat pipe etc

I'd break it if I were you, think you'd get more profit compared to fixing it and selling it as a whole

depends what you sell off it to say what its worth in spares mate. you could say just brake the exhaust, seats, engine and bumpers etc.

or everything so its basically a shell, either way, tough to say a price

Already got the 2 vts wheels, got them at 40 each, and then got hold of a brand new wheel for 35 lol still in box, so i have a set of 5 vts wheels, 1 brand new, 2 mint, and 2 a little scratched, 2 have brand new tyres and the other two have good yoko's on,

If i broke her the WHOLE lot would be up for grabs, might just do that to be honest.
