ecu problem

hi my son bought a wreg 1.6 saxo from his mate. the car had gone into a ditch. his mate repaired the body damage but it wont start. he took it to citreon they said it was ecu.but when you turn the key the immobiliser light flashes and wont go out the car turns over but wont start anybody got any ideas

yeh the immobilisrer is stuck on for some reason,have you got a key fob with a button to de activate the immobiliser?

£150 ecu unlock ive heard.

or grab one and a key set off of ebay
