is there anything i should look out for when looking at them?
i.e:any commen problems to look out for?

are the westcoasts any good?

try to go for a model that hasn't been modified. if its been modified its guaranteed to have been ragged :y: also check for idling problems ;)

also make sure the spare tyre is in good condtion because there mounted under the car they do have a tendency to crack due to cold weather i.e winter! like myn has i really do need to get it replace lol

idling isnt a common fault, i dont know of any that have had this fault

and modified doesnt mean its been ragged at all, i know alot of members who have made changes and never rag it

again knocking suspension isnt a common fault, can happen on higher miles cars could be drive shaft

check behind wheels at cv joints, check oil filler cap, see if theres any mayo/chicken tikka there sign of head going/gone

check bout service history and so on

spare wheel isnt really a big one, can easily buy a new tyre

hpi check the car regardless of what the owner says

Idling and knocking problems are probably the most common type of thread on this site? I agree there are a selection of young people that dont rag their cars but then again there are alot of people that do.

Get some breathing mods i.e exhaust and decent airfilter and you'll be playing with the VTR boys..:)

Good choice of car mate.;)
