hey all just a quick question,
when you de-cat your saxo, is there some kind of sensor thing you need to stick on the car and where can it be bought from?
only asking as some local dude in a saxo asked me this the other day and i didnt have a clue what he was talking about!
any help would be appreciated,
thanks

Hes probably on about the lambda sensor mate. Theres one on the manifold of earlier saxos, and two in the manifold of later ones. On later ones the decat involves the manifold, so you need to get a sleeve for the second lambda sensor that has no where to go i think

well if the cat is under the car like mine no just a simple de-cat replacement if your cat joined on the manifold you have to go down the root of aboth not to sure on that

Ive got a mk2 vtr with decat and with the second lamber sensor in the ECU ligth was on, all i did was cable tie lamber sensor out of the way, so it was reading normal air, but from doing recent research you can buy a sleeve!
Think GMC sell the sleeve for about 20-25quid!
