Saxo Bonnet

Im thinking of buying my mates bonnet of him!
the grill area has all been smoothed over!
which means im gna have to remove the safety catch from the bonnet is this hard to do?
Could someone please explain how?

just knock the pin through mate knock from left to right

is it not, 'dangerous' to move the safety catch? i want the same done, just worried about the bonnet flying up.

Ive had no bonnet catch for over 15,000 miles no problems just make sure it's shut right.
