you obviously bought one which had been ragged the shit out of. did you have it checked out before you bought it?
sounds like youve had a bit of bad luck and bought one which hasn't been looked after.

I've seen Dan drive it, was just a casual driver, he didn't rag the car.
The owner before it was a bit of a tosser in my opinion though.

what miles is it on?
Dan0000002
12th August 2007, 15:43
its got 54,000 miles on it :( apparently 7 hours to fit a clutch on the phase 2s so its 250ish labour and then part to pay for. brought the car from an old guy (late 30s) only has 1 owner from new with fsh and receipts so thought it was a good buy for the price.

just cos its a vts doesnt mean its been ragged all over, may of just been a shitter mate, my vts never gets flogged apart from track. there arent as many young people have vts cos insurance is high
everytime i see a vts around here its 30year old women or around that, never see young lads in them

how did you know you needed new top mounts?
Borat
13th August 2007, 17:15
I'm guessing because of an awful vibration that runs all the way through the car. Also if you it the rev limiter the full car will shake.
