I know this has been covered before but ive read through previous threads and cant seem to find the exact problem as mine..
where is this drainage pipe located..?? my passenger footwell keeps filling with water when its been raining heavy..the water appears to be coming dwn the inside pillar and dripping dwn onto the floor... ive resealed the rubber surround of the sunroof and also sealed the ariel..but when i opened the sunroof yesterday and gave the car a rock i could see the panel between the sunroof and the front window was full of water.. any idea what the problem is how is the water getting in there?? or is it meant to get in there and then be drained out someway??

But the inside panel between the sunroof and the front windscreen fills with water and then seems 2 run down the pillars onto the floor.. im wondering how the water gets there in the first place or how its supposed 2 drain away from there..
surely the drainage pipe is up there somewhere??

if you search for a thread called majour water leak, steve, doubledavies and myself all had water leaks and your one sounds like steves one, nearly every water leak is covered in that thread,
it could also be your windscreen seal that has gone

Yeah i was trying to find steve's thread for you. He explains in there how to take out your headlining etc to get the sunroof out and check your drain pipes for blockages.
I found out on mine that who ever had install the alarm when they'd taken the dash out to put the wiring in etc. they had tightened the dash bolt into the rubber drain pipe so no water could run down.
If you decide that you cant be arsed running some wire down the pipes you can pull the pipes up and out of the collumns and check them a little better, but be prepared they aint the easiest of things to get back in.
Taking out the headling aint that difficult, if you cant find steve's thread all you need to do it take out everything that screws into the headlining (i.e. roof handles, sun visors, centre plastic housing, sunroof winder, plastic pillar trims front/middle(where seat belts bolt into) and rear (top of the boot).
It should just drop out, i mannaged to do it all on my own in a couple of hours, but you may want help from a friend to help you get the headlining back up, as i got very frustrated at times and just left it for a bit while i went a made a brew (you cant jus rest the headlining on the front headrests for a while and put the back roof handles in first to kinda get it into place).
If you get stuck PM Steve, Sim69er or myself.
Steve is a legend for anything tho so best bets with him.
Best of luck

Is that the only way u can access the pipes..by removing the headlining? Wheres the pipe located behind the dash that u say the guy tightened the bolt into??

Yeah if u look down by the bonnet release and pull the carpet back and the sound proofing etc you'll see a huge black bolt.
If you remove the bolt you'll only be able to see the pipe cant really do much to it tho.
Honestly mate you best off removing the headlining and just pour water down or blow down the pipe to see if their blocked, DONT SUCK!!! lol
If u pour water down and it dont move anywhere jus check those bolts. Best remedy for that is to losen the bolts and pull the drain pipe up a little then tighten the bolts back up then feed the pipe back down around the bolts.

When u open the sunroof can i see the pipe at all ?? or can u only access it frm under the roof lining? waters def getting in there as after the heavy rain i opened the sunroof and shook the car i could see that panel between the sunroof and the front windscreen was full of water..

No, the only way to see the pipe's is to take down the headlining.
It really isn't that difficult just keep track of all the screw's etc.
If you want to see the very tops of the drain pipes though, you need to remove the sunroof.
Trust me it's worth while doing it. i used to hate getting in my car after it had chucked it down. It really aint that hard to do mate.
