I have got a door popper kit, and have mounted the solenoids...
however, the solenoid does not seem to be able to release the catch?
Any hints and tips, whats should i attached the solenoid too?
Anyone done this? HELP

the solenoid should have a little metal string thing on it.
basically wrap that round the release mechanism and pull out the slack so it just shy from opening the door.
then cable tie the loop back on its self so it sits tight.
also remember you may have the polarity round the wrong way

I've made them for a few boot releases.
I've never seen a door kit however it cant be hard. Because you cant enter without an handle the door, essentially doesnt need locking.
The metal rod which your handle fits onto needs the solenoid attatching to it. You may need a second solenoid to push the door open. (Depends on if the door catches).
Your door handle inside the car becomes useless and you need to set up a button to open the doors from inside.
If the solenoid isnt releasing the catch it means its not powerful enough or requires a spring to recoil the mechanism
