Hi im new here, Done a search around and just wondering if anyone can help me out.
Ive got a 6 channel magnat amp, 2 x pheonix gold subs. Ive wired all this up and my subs just beat away when theres no music! when i connect both subs up its unbareable! It seems to get worse when i start the car up so im guessing im getting interferance from somewhere. Ive got a kenwood 627 dvd headunit so the power unit and all the cables are in the boot but as seperated as can be. Ive also had to use a smaller power cable as I was struggling to get it through the grommit. Any adice would be appreciated.

Ive also got 4 x JL speakers for front and rear is there any write up on how to wire these up through the doors etc and with crossovers.

thats about it people :D cheers.

Also ive got 2 x 12" phoenix gold titanium subs and 2 pairs (4) of JL AUDIO VR600CSI 6" component speakers. What kind of power cable should i be looking at? My 4 guage one is in need of replacing.

you tryed adjusting the amp settings, try the filter on it

failing that check the earth and terminals on the amp for any stray wires touching each other

4 gauge should do for the amp mate

also you dont really need rear speakers in a sxo, fronts are just as good on there own, also quote the figures of your sub and spec of the amp etc (in RMS)

Yeah i wouldnt have spend money on rear speakers for saxo but I brought the whole system off a mate for cheap so cant complain. Also dont know the specs of the amp or subs, took it out the box to look but nothing.

Ive rewired the power cable now and 1 sub is now working fine :) when i connect the 2nd up though its just a constant 'heartbeat' from both subs, maybe i wired them wrong? lol. Anyway its better than before atm :)
