when i go over 65 mph all of a sudden the hole front end starts shaking, mostly the passengers side, then after about 90mph is all fine.

the shaking goes right up the steering wheel and the hole dash shakes like forkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

ive put a new set of wheels on and they have just been balanced and the shake still there, the onli other thing i have done id put the front passengers side wheel ina ditch and it slammed down possiably on the wish bones.

cheers sean

mate slid my 1.1 out on a corner ages ago and went up a curb sideways, bent all the wheel, put a set of alloys on it, all fine until i got to over 50mph.

also it did brake brilliant on the side that took the impact..

im afraid it may cost $ to sort... i sold mine as i was going to get a new car anyway, the new owner (a mechanic) reckoned not a big deal.

i drover round in mine for ages like it (even went through an MOT with no advisories like it)

Do the new alloys have the correct bore? if not they might need rings so they sit on the hub correctly, also it might be worth finding somewhere that does dynamic wheel balancing (wheels are balanced on the car)

yeh i would get wheels balanced again mate and get the tyre place to make sure they aint buckled. Cant really be anything else or it would shake all the time

if so i cant believe they still arent balanced, they have been in and out of ATS FOUR TIME ! ! ! !

ggggrrrrrrrr why is it so hard to balance a wheel....
