Ok i was talkin to my parents, asking if i they could insure my car and have me as a name driver.

They said no because there soon will be 4 cars at my household, 3 at a min, and 4 residents, me my dad my mum and my brother.

Each one of the other 3 people are each main drivers on one of the cars at my household

like

fiesta > dads main driver > named drivers other 3
Peugeot 206 > mums main driver > named driver my dad
VTR > brothers main driver > mum and dad named drivers

Now if i bought a VTR... Could my mum be main driver on it even though shes already main driver on peugeot 206 at my house? Or would it make the insurance void if i crashed.

I've tried to explain as much as possible.. but from reading what i've wrote i got a feeling not many will understand me.

yes she can but her NCB cannot be on both cars, so for u to get a cheap quote doing it this way shell have to transfer her NCB over to ur vtr..

easiest option is going on ur own name but its gonna be alot more expensive..

personally dont see why it would be a problem. the car would probably have to be registered in her name though or the insurance company might not insure you . Dont know whether what i said makes any sense to you either haha but i know what im talking about ;)

It is possible but if you crash your insurance company will know straight away because she already got a car, and they probably wont pay you out

Best thing is to get your own policy

yea its possible, otherwise it would mean that only 1 person to each car which isnt true, some people have more than one car that they use therefore can be a main driver on two or more cars...
