hi everyone, im new here, i dont know alot about cars, but want to extend some of the knowledge i might posess :drink: im 19 and own a 1.1i saxo, white, and not going to do anything to it, as me and my mates all promised NEVER mod our 1st car, so thats what im doing, not modding it. Im like many others, i LOVE saxos, everything about them, i LOVE. My dream saxo is of course the vts, and thats what im planning on getting in 2/3 years. I have a vision of what i want and how it will look. i know vts is group 14 insurance, where as vtr is group 7, but im a speed demon inside, and crave faster speeds. So my heart is set on a vts, and thats what i will do. In the build up to getting a vts, i would like to know from EXPERIENCED moddifiers what i would need to do to make my VTS one of the best.

Please dont slate me if i dont know anything, im here to learn from everyone who knows some things about modding saxos.

Reply nicely :) :)

Hey man, i dont know much about modding and i havent been slated, so dont worry about it

Sax-p people only slate idiots who drive to fast on public roads, they dont mind speed demons who use their speed on the track, :) remember that and you'll be fine :)

thanks for welcoming me everyone, im ssoo certain what i want to do, i dont care about money, ive thought of an K & N but i want more!! :) im not the type to look for races in the streets but as you all might know, if someone 'intimidates' you then you gota show them who is boss, even though i cant do that in a 1.1i :D hahaha. What Simo has done inspires me to match or even better what he has done. So Simo, if i need help, could i use some of you expertise? :D And anyone else who might know a lil bit bout anything, i wont be scared to ask.

Again, thanks for welcoming me :)

Hey and welcome. Just do a search of browse the forums for ideas on how to make the VTS engine more powerfull. Everyone has different opinions but the general consensus seems to be, fast road cams, straight through exhaust system and a remap.

Wellcome to Sax-P, i owning a VTS will shed some light for you, There 3 different types of modding a saxo.

1. Track Slag ( which mine is ) Basicly stipping every out like back seats and other crap u dont need. Keeping the outside simple.

2. Euro Sax - Here you can have deep dish rims and smooth everything going.

3. BodyKit Sax - Here you just add a bodykit and some wheels and u have another bodykited saxo.

Although word of warning ( Stay Away From Lexarse Lights! )

Hope that helps abit.
