Can someone help me?

I have a mk 2 VTS and have just bought a 3 point sparco harness. I'll be using the standard drivers seat for the moment.

I have the rear completely stripped out and can see where the harness bolt's on to at the rear. I assume that on my right hand side, the harness goes onto the small metal part that the original seat belt goes on? I am unsure where the left side will connect to though????

Can anyone tell me where it goes and, if they have any, please put some pics up!

Thanks everyone.

you can either attach it to a bolt on your subframe which is going to be the less safe option.

The best way of doing it would be to drill into the raised area in the rear footwells and attach it to there. You'll need to use spreader plates to distribute the weight though.

What scott said.

Always mount harnesses to the chassis, do otherwise if you would like to die.

Cheers for advice and pics guys, its much appreciated. I shall steer clear of mounting it to the sub frame thats for sure.

i used the existing seat belt mounting hole to the left of the seat.

its tried and tested by shitroen, so is designed to take the stress force of the belt.

he's talking about where to mount the other side of the harness though,
