changing dials !!!!!!!!!

take out the dials with the time(no rev counter).. and replacing them with the rev counter model how hard is this my mate said i need to run a wire from the coil or some sort.

you could run a wire from the diagnostics plug to get a rev counter to work. but not sure on the rest. sorry dude.

im sure your mate is right, its measured from the coil or alternator iirc, do a search on here and google too

If its the mk1 dials (type with 5 connectors) just replace the unit with one with rev counter. It should be a direct swap, they have it wired up already. Aslong as the one you put in has the 5 connectors on the back. The other type has 1 connector and has digital odometer on it. These are harder to correct milage as you'll need some1 to do it for you.

With the other ones its a case of taking your old unit appart, taking your old odometer out with cars correct milage and swapping it to the new unit with the speedo. Hope this helps matey (pm'd you back btw too)
