Hi my stereo keeps losing its settings. I have looked at the FAQ's but I cain't really work it out. See the problem is the person who had the car before just cut all the wires to get his stereo out. I've realised that my live is a grey colour, not yellow for some reason, I dont know if this is the same in every saxo. There is a red wire but when I connect it to the live nothing happens and it still doesn't save my settings. There is a black wire from the stereo loom which is connected to a yellow wire on the cars loom.

Its getting a bit confusing as I got know much about stereos and a mate of mine put it in for me.

Can anyone help?

Just noticed something, the battery and ACC, red and yellow, wires leading from the headunit are connected and always have been, so why is it losing its settings???

Put yellow to red, and red to yellow would be my suggestion mate.

Did you try my suggestion yet?

For photos, click the little icon that looks like a mountain, it's "Insert Picture"

Glad it's sorted anyway. I had the same problem with the wires :)

Na I didn't get is sorted, still trying to get the photo up , when you click the mountain button it asks you to enter the http but the image is only on my computer so what do i do. This is proberly really simple and im just being an idiot. sorry guys

red is perminant live, yellow is igntion live - for some reason they need swapping on the ISO block. not just for saxos, its for other cars too
