MK2 Front Grille

How is the grille secured? On mine it looks like it's spot welded on. I've just got a dimma front grille which has holes for screws to secure it but dont know how to remove the old one.

its just screwed in mate, with a few torx screws. you will need a t20 torx screwdriver to remove them.

its hard to notice them but look harder on the in side of ya bonet m8 and you should see 6 littel screws holdin it on.

just had a look at my grille and cnt see anything, it looks like a rite mess, the last owner had had it meshed.

are you looking from under the bonnet?

even if he has meshed it there must be some screws holding it in?!

maybe he has bonded it in with tigerseal or something??

u got any pics mate??? should be easy enough to remove tbh! it hasnt be smoothed in has it?

no it's not bn smoothed in, yeah looking under the bonnet, ill have a better look tomorrow and will use a torch

maybe your looking too hard mate. they are obvious if he's used the normal screws and screw holes
