1.0i Saxo Engine Mods

Hi i have a 1 litre saxo
is there much point in modding the engine or not?
if so wot shall i do first? i only 17 n aint got much money! smileys/smiley3.gif

no there is absolutely no point in modding it for more power, to make more noise then yes but to make more power no.

as far as i no, there isnt anything for a 1.o! am having trouble finding anything for mine - am only after an induction kit! and even if there was it isnt really worth it as u wudnt get much bac from the mods i think!
i reckon its just worth saving up and getting a vtr/z transplant instead!

im after a k&n induction kit, have heard they do 1 for a mk1 1.1 saxo! it depends where u go for the transplant, but i think its prob around £1000 all in all i think! if i remember right pug performance do saxo engine transplants!

k&n do an induction kit's for 1.1's i had one on my 1.1 itr drank petrol but i had a straight through exhaust system on it aswell

there is no point in doing any engine mods at all to be honest and as for the engine transplant if your only 17 the insurance will cripple you.

lol realistic i am going to uni so i will have 2 wait until then to get a good car. i was just consideringmy options! i did wonder bout insureance!

as mentioned, no point really doing anything to the engine as its false economy, just do a exhaust for the look side of thing and concentrate on some subtle styling and get a vtr or something else later on...
