normal car batteries are not made to run completely flat, this can damage them. Chances are the battery is fubar

It didn't go completely flat it did let me turn the lights on and put down the front windows but did not start the car.

Sorry i didn't say that before.

car abttereis can only go flat about 3 times, then they're screwed.

If you want to sit in a car park all night listening to tunes without the engine running, you'll need a deep cycle battery. The most popular is a Yellow Top. these can go flat about 300 times, and hold much more charge anyway :)

there are other options, such as leisure batteries etc

Ok... Thank you but i did not sit in a car park listening to my music all night with out the engine running , if that is what you trying to saying.

I was in the front garden and it was about 3 hours then i turned it off for about an hour then back on for another hour, so that is only four hours.

any other thought on what it could be please?

check the battery terminals are on tight

get the battery and alternator tested

fill the battery cells up with water, make sure it covers the cell plates

make sure you havent got any permanent live feeds, check you have connected the remote to remote and not the permanent live
