Just before the French Car Show myself and DannySp8 fitted a new gearbox to my VTS , as the old box had suffered from a damaged crown wheel (again). It was a bit of a rush job to colelct a gearbox and fit it before booking the car for an MOT.

Unfortunately whilst fitting the box the clutch release bearing moved and became mis-aligned... meaning that the clutch was slipping constantly when driving - the car missed the FCS event

Anyway... in preparation for TRAX I am doing the same job(s), only this time, instead of the luxury of a ramp in a garage, I'm fdoing it...

After 2 weeks off on holiday today was my first day back into work! Boo...

I had to go in to authorise an important job to proceed. I thought I'd do a very brief blog as it involves a topic most people probably won't think about too much : - Confined Space Entry.

We've had to take a reactor offline at the plant as about 8 months ago the steam heating coil within the tank ruptured and caused lots of problems. ITs taken a long time to get money approved to replace it and for the exotic materials to be made, etc. I'm glad its getting fixed, put it that way! ...

This month I decided to join the childcare voucher scheme at work.

It’s ran by a company called Sodexho who the nursery we take Ruby to, accept these vouchers. What happens is you give them an amount of money to be taken off your wage every month upto a maximum of £243 a month. I decided to go into it at £230 a month.

The best thing is though, you DON’T get taxed on that £230.

I have just got my wage slip today, saved myself £81 a month. I paid £130 Tax and £71 National Insurance – make you jealous? Lol.

So in theory, I’m paying £230...

I dont normally do serious.
Im an idiot where ever i am, go or wake up in.

But this is for a worthy cause and i feel the more people know, the better the outcome will be for those we are trying to help.

i built my vts


loved it and after doing all the subs and leather rear seat stuff i decided i wanted it as a bit of track use and stripped it out

started looking at cages and bits and took it on my first trackday
where the car came to its end when i spun it into the gravel and it rolled ...

My pal Matt Thomas (Hard Dance fans keep an eye out for him) has just moved into his new pad.

Recepie:
8oz self raising flour
8oz sugar
8oz porridge oats
8oz margarine
1tbsp golden syrup
1tbsp hot water
1/2 tsp bic soda

mix flour, oats and sugar
melt marg, syrup and water in a pan then stir in bic soda and add to dry...
