Update: Stripping started..

Below was the car 1/2 way through today, it now has all carpet + all seats + all sound proofing removed, tomorrow is the dash, door cards, central locking and maybe heater matrix.

As you can see, my cat helped me alot, with out him I would never have been able to get it done, so shoutout to my cat Tango!

Update: Wheel Refrub started..

Doing one wheel at a time, dont have a spare set and need to move the car round the drive..

Car has 5 alloys, started on the worst wheel (gonna be the spare)

Took me 3.5 hours to sand (by hand) this one wheel, its now in primer, painting after work tonight. No hints on the colour scheme, will be shown when all 5 wheels are done and on the car..

Bit of a shit morning...

First of went to take the wheels of the car, passenger side came off fine, no problems at all.

Went to remove drivers side and the ordinary bolts were to sight that the wheel was spinning (whilst the car was on the ground), when i was undoing the bolts, im guessing the bolts were around 200nm tight. So loosened all of those, then went to remove the locking wheel bolt, it was so tight the locking wheel nut removal socket snapped. So i have to go to peugeot tomorrow and try and get a new removal tool.

So my next job was the rocker...

[/SIZE][/B][SIZE=4][SIZE=2]As the car has no real service history from 55k (now on 100k), I am doing every single service routine on the car, brakes, camblet the lot.

So I ordered my wishbone bushes three days ago and they came today, went down to pick them up, whilst I was there I got a new camblet and tension tool as well as a new seal for the rocker cover, because at the moment its leaking badly.

Hopefully fitting the parts on sunday, so hope to get a few pics of me dirty as doing these jobs. The car is absolutely...

Engine rebuild: Re bored, skimmed, forged rods, high comp pistons, lightened and balanced crank + fly, new valve springs, ported + polished head.
New front discs, bigger, cross drilled with new 6 pot callipers

4-1 manifold
Bodywork - Full rub down, straighten all out and then respray in cherry red

All work to be done by me, other than Re boring + skim will have...

well after big changes all round for me really, firstly being the car, im gonna go back to a standard but clean looking motor ive decided i really just want it to be a car and something i wont mess too much with!!
so hopefully that will be resolved soonish although it may look rather a difrent borrowed set up at trax next week lol all may be revealed

in life ive been currently applying for the royal navy for various reasons, got passed my selection test and interview but had a bit of bad luck with my medical today.
it has to be a year after operations before entry...
