Lowered?

Well its been a long long week. Iv been of work all week and the plan was to do a bit of work on the sax. First up was lowering the back end. Well the torsion bars where super tight. eventually after three days of wacking and a bolt snaped (after trying the pull method) we got it lowered 50mm. well we thought. it looked like this. Any weight in the car and it was scrapeing.

I was baffled after mesuring from the top of the hub- well where the wheel sits on, o the arch it measured 350mm. so we jacked the trailing arms to 300mm and put the torson bars back in. the result was above.

we tried highering it to 325m but the splines wouldn't go in so me and my mate got real pissed of so we put it back to 350mm just so I could drive it. The results where this:

It does look good, the pics are a bit crap to be onest. The only problem is I cannot have a large passenger or anything in the back. Does anyone know if upgraded dampers will do it? I was thinking some gmax/ spax or whatever would make the back end stiffer so i can actually have somone in my car apart from me.

Tuesday morning was pouring it down so I used my new polishing kit to clean up the manifold cover-looks quite smart.

Anyone got any ideas about the rear and weather upgraded dampers will make it real stiffer?
