VT Kitted & Plenty of changes

The VT kit was obtained and sprayed. The Zest Yellow colour was too hard to get a perfect match, but no matter it was fitted



Some big changes on the rear:

Bought a custom backbox, i wanted something not too loud that would fit nicely within the VT kit recess

Also changed rear lights to these red LED ones, MK2 wiper arm fitted and some new numberplates

SaxP saviour and an unlikely Hero

Soon after buying the car i started to look at slightly bigger and more adventurous things to do on the car rather than the simple 'bolt on' mods which id done so far.

I started to scour ebay for parts of a VT kit, and to find out more about fitting one i stumbled across Saxperience for some advice

I attended my first Saxperience meet soon after which was somewhere up north and travelled along with this guy (He hasnt changed a bit since tbh)

Bad Max Power influence!

Well at 18 and not really knowing any better, (still Pre Saxperience membership) i went out and bought a Max Power Mag

At the time certain things were still very much 'the in thing' it seemed so the following happened....

Evo style mirrors, looked cool at the time and the built in indicators worked well



Some chrome bits appeared, cheap and cheerful additions with money being in short supply

Chapter 1 - let the journey begin

The car was purchased in December 2004, it came with full service history with 2 lady owners from new both in the same family. Milage an average 78k.

I had been looking for a small engined car for insurance purposes and wanted to find something with a bit of potential to tinker with and learn a bit about the running and workings of a car.

I came across a Saxo with a difference.

It was Zest Yellow, a colour which isnt seen very often, and a Special Edition "Open...
