looks nice lad. as i said in another thread, reminds me of Ferg's old S.

I think standard / smoked fogs would suit it better though, those yellow ones stick out like a sore thumb

Cheers, Yeh they are smoked underneath the yellow paint. I'll leave them as they are for a while but may decide to get the paint off them. :)

Got my coillies wound down abit more today, I think my car is now roughly 80mm at the front, hard to estimate though, couple of shitty photos as I cant be bothered to take it back out the garage. :)

m11ler 11th March 2012 20:54

Ohhh that does look very low on the front now! You checked it over for pas pipe issues and anything else that could rub etc?

Still got a gap there, changing to mk1 pipes on friday as the back pipe split, so at the moment I have no power steering. :) I think any lower than this and it looks like i'd encounter wishbone issues.

Ahh gutted lol, no power steering is better anyway! And it doesn't need to go any lower than that tbh mate.. just need to bring the back down a bit now and it'll look wicked.

I hate it, I cant wait to have it back! :D

Ahh really i didn't know the back went down aswell! Yeah tbh mate it could do with another 10mm or so, it'll still keep the nose down stance aswell with that.

And yeah i know how you feel! Shame none of my money is going towards actual mods though haha

Im due a cambelt change in a month, so gotta pay for that, and I want to spend some money tidying up the engine bay, ecu cover, sort out rocker cover and manifold cover etc.
It's hard to capture the stance on camera properly, the arch gap for the front is only slightly more than the rear so I'm happy for now :)

LSOfreak 11th March 2012 21:31

check your brake lines arent rubbing on the antiroll on the front while its not jacked up.
Dont do the same mistake as me and loose brakes on the m25 :fcuk: lol

bobertmate 12th March 2012 12:39

JoshFurioBrookes 12th March 2012 12:43

Cheers peoples :)
I'll get a couple more photos later in the week of how it sits now. :)

JoshFurioBrookes 12th March 2012 16:31

Got a few photos today of how the front is now. I'm very happy with it now! I get alot of rubbing on full lock, may remove the arch liners, not sure yet.
Ride quality isnt too bad to be fair, just have to be super aware for the big bumps/pot holes, hit a big one today and pretty sure one side of my car hit the floor for a split second!

Ride height comparison to my subcard ;)

And the clearance underneath isnt great, the speedbumps getting into college are abit of a problem.

m11ler 12th March 2012 16:34

Now i see better pictures, i don't really think the rear needs to go down atall. Could look different from different angles lol.
