Car is off to LAD Motorsport very soon to have some more headwork done and a newly developed Peugeot Sport Group A Tarmac Rally camshaft....currently were running the 1.6 engine with 160bhp using a piper 285 duration cam this new cam will be 312 degree duration so around 170bhp with bigger valves and rejetting of carbs....should be good...

Next after that will possibly be looking for a straight cut box...i dont want to spend too much on it as after all will be getting an ex works kit car in a few years...

good choice with LAD for a 205 they pretty ernie up there pretty much built my 205 and it really is rather good.

Well done on the results as usual.

Yep hopefully we can do it later this year if you sort funds out :P

MJRallying 9th August 2009 15:39

Update: 9/8/09

We have had a change of plan were not going to take it to LAD motorsport for more headwork and a diff cam for a few reasons:

*Dont want to risk reliability (at mo its bombproof)
*The cost of it could fund more rallies...
*It will be less torque and more peaky so twisty areas where the car thrives at mo will be a struggle....

Thats our main reasons...

Were out at rallyday on the 19th sept doing passenger rides etc...if anyone is interested give me or mario89 a shout...

Thats all for now.

Jackman 9th August 2009 15:42
