Here are 2 video's ive kndly created for you guys to enjoy. The first is the car revving with a warm engine, and the 2nd is a ride along inside the car at full pelt :P

Note the 1st video, on the 2nd clip you can just hear the raspy sound when i rev high, due to poor recording equipment, you cant hear it the rest of the time.

Lol cheers mate, great road but a bit dodgy being only a 50mph road :P which i definatly did not go any faster...

I drive up and down that road at least 3 times a day every day so it gets boring @ 50 and need to boot it from time to time :hug:

Shure does, really raspy on the over-run and top end. You cant hear on the video but when you rev stationary its really raspy.

I have a quick confession, i couldnt keep my grubby mits out the modified scene for a day, ive only gone and put standard headlights back on and painted my standard grill gloss black. And im even considering putting 106 GTI mirrors on :P Shame on me.

P.S. Ill get some pics up tommorow

i not to keen on 106 mirrors on saxos, but if you are, just go to scrapy and get the ones off a 1.1 106, it not painted,but it unclips and you can paint it, also it not electric

I want the GTI ones, i think the standard ones are a bit smaller. Ill paint them gloss black also. Depends on how much really.

there are all the same size, also you wouldnt be able to use electric, unless you do electric mirrior conversion

Ok Update today even though i said the car was finished :P Not shure if anything else will follow other than silver tech indicator bulbs.

Ive done my spare grille gloss black with gloss black chevrons



I got some 106 mirrors and sprayed them gloss black



Ive put standard headlights back on too

The black vts does have a straight through super sprint exhaust on and a lot of work done to the. Engine his progress thread is on here is name is tipsy m8.

any one see the Punto, with thr GT stickers on, the tax was 3 month out of date and had an exhaust that looked like a scaffolding and had been sawn off at the end

I love the supersprint systems, id love to have a VTR with one on. That was your car then i presume, it was crazy because it was ear bleedingly loud, but i still want it :P

Bouncing off the rev limiter shurly will ruin the engine before long tho haha

ive got the limit set to 1.5k before its actual limit so wont ruin it at all. got it all set up on launch control so alot of the time it was only limiting at 4.3k and then 6.5k, engine is built to take it. :D (Y)

Haha sounds like you know your stuff. Is it a track slag or show car then? Thoes supersprint systems are loud anyway so its no wonder you atttracted so much attention :P

it always attracts too much attention. normally from the wrong kind of people. well its built for track/ fast road but need to put a silenced center on it. its by no means a show car, it takes too much of a beating to be kept clean and tidy. its away down to rochdale on tuesday to go on chipwizards rollers for its remap, running really lumpy with the cams in, overfuelling like mad when im driving it slowly.
